En-route with our new smaller group to Bulawayo which is the second biggest city in Zimbabwe. The further we travel towards the coast (9+ hour drive from Vic Falls to Bulawayo), the warmer the temperature becomes. We setup camp and have dinner early for another dark rise in the morning. An open game truck collects us at 6am to spend the day at Matapos Park - which is home to many large white and black Rhino's. Our professional experienced hunter Andy expertly guides the group throughout the day in the search of rhino. We see much elephant but it's more difficult to find the rhino. In the last 2 hours we come across 2. We are guided quietly out of the truck to follow the rhino on foot - in single flle and behind the safety of Andy and his large riffle gun! A long day at Matapos is greeted by a big campfire dinner already awaiting us thanks to our wonderful Jack and Teddy!!
